Terengganu Cherry /Lepisanthes Alata is species originated from South East Asia and uses as ornamental plants in garden landscapes. Terengganu Cherry trees are often used as ornamental trees because of its attractive young, purple foliage and long, purple inflorescences that become bright, shiny, red clusters of fruit.

Special Feature

When the fruits are fully grown and have turned a deep crimson, harvest them in groups. When not fully developed, the skin can be astringent, and the meat is yellow, sweet, and crunchy. The thin, outer skin might be astringent or dry out the mouth if it is too young. With three seeds per fruit, it is sweet and slightly tangy
