ESALQ Red Jaboticaba Live Plant (Plinia Phitrantha Esalq)

Plinia Phitrantha "ESALQ" is named after the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) in Brazil. This cultivar was studied by botanist and agronomist Joao Rodrigues de Mattos in the 1970s and has since become a popular cultivar due to its characteristics. The tree produces fruits with large seeds and excellent sweet flavor. Fruits at 4-5 years old.
