Cat Eye Fruit/ Syzygium Zeylanicum is native to South Asia. The tree itself is quite attractive with light brown bark, dark-green pinnate leaves and small, white flowers held in terminal panicles. Cat eye normally blooms in February and March. The slightly fragrant flowers are yellowish white in color and look like a tuft of cat hair.
Special Feature
They are present in a bunch of attractive white fruits and inside shiny black and smooth seeds, surrounded by translucent pulp. It tastes sweet and slightly juicy. The fruit has the smell of puffed rice and is full of taste.Â
